Public Comment Policy

A Humboldt Utilities Authority customer may speak and offer comments at the beginning of a Humboldt Utilities Authority board meeting during the designated time. To request to speak, a customer must contact Humboldt Utilities Authority by calling (731) 784-9212 before 12:00 pm one business day prior to the scheduled meeting and provide their name and service address.

At the designated time, the first five customers to properly request to speak will be able to provide comments on topics pertaining to the utility. All speakers are limited to two minutes. 

Only customers who have requested to speak will be allowed time. In the interest of time, groups of customers speaking on the same topic should select a spokesperson to address the board on their behalf.
